Default Exhaust question ??

I have just had my old origonal backbox put back onto my wagon and I have to say it's quite nice not having my ears blown out on the M/way.

Although Ido miss the banshee like growl at full chat

So it's got me thinking, I have a de-cat downpipe fitted and I was going to have the centre done aswell, but I did'nt due to the noise aspect, but now I have the old origonal backbox back on it should be fine.

Has anyone else done this, it would be stealthier and far easier on the ears !!

no not that i am aware of, the backbox is the most restrictive part of the system hence why people change/upgrade these parts first

The extra flow at the frount of the zorst may well damage the baffles at the back box.

thanks 555rob555, rob so there is a difference between a my94wrx to a say my98wrx or even the latest model classic apart from the location of the lambda sensor and as rob says the extra flow and heat may well damage the baffles due to it not being of straight through design which in turn would make them collapse causing other problems, next!!!!!
