Andy Forrest at Melbourne today!
I went to watch Andy Forrest run his car and it didn't break!!! It is the first time I have seen him run 9s as it is always broken
Here is a video of him running 9.337s at Melbourne today. I believe he won the £500 with a string of 9s runs
Record
His next run was 9.309s but not in video.
Enjoy

They had a problem with the clutch when the nitrous comes on. The Lateral Car is still near full weight - maybe only 40kgs lighter than a standard STi

IIRC it was 9.136, but I think for an "official" record, you have to do another run within 1% of the time in order for it to be recognised.
Andy went to do the "1%" run and went sideways off the line........ think the donuts have something to do with it???
Whatever, 9. anything is bloody fast!!!!

Well done Andy. Glad the inlet manifold held up today.
It was a 9.19 (unless they've corrected it) I'll put a video up of it later if noone else has.
He bust the front passanger side stub axle.

Thanks guys
Here's the 9.1 run taken from behind....oh-er
An excellent day everything considered with all 7 runs in the 9's
Note to self.... don't do celebratory do-nuts on warm sticky drag radials... its not good for the shafts
