So can i afford ...
Ive been a bit of a lurker around these parts for the last year or so be nice
I currently drive a Honda Accord Type-R but im on the look for something new, something like a 3dr Scoob Type-R or any scoob that floats my boat at the time i decide to buy. I have one concern, petrol costs. I currently get between 250miles (when im redlining VTEC everywhere) and 320 (grandad mode, not that often) to about £55 of Optimax.
I drive 35miles a day, 5days a week for work. So will my petrol costs be much more with a Scoob? Is there much diff in MPG between the different classic model scoobs? Yes i understand im buying a performance car and i shouldnt be too concerned with mpg, but i wont be ragging it everywhere all the time so id like to know what mpg is possible.
Im totally ignorant to how many miles scoobs do to a full tank so please, no "IF YOU HAVE TO ASK YOU CANT AFFORD IT" replies. Thanks ppl

Sounds like about the same.
My classic UK Turbo running 273/273 returns about 220 to a tank, mainly around town with the odd motorway blast.
I am sure if I did more A road/Mway I would get 250+.

Depends what driving you do. Been getting around 16mpg with town work, but did a run to gatwick the other day which is just over 210 miles and had a quarter of a tank left when I got there.

same as many others around 240 miles to £45-50 of petrol...
motorway miles do help though and stretch it out a little, but its the round town driving that ***** you up. what sort of driving would you most be doing???
