Go for a long weekend abroad, park it in an NCP carpark. With anyluck it'll be gone when you get back.

Hope you got GAP insurance when you brought the car?

Are you that fcukin stupid ?????

Take the car to the dealer (if you really have one) & tell them to get it sorted. They have a duty to repair & if you dont get anywhere (which you will unless you're 12 yrs old) then speak to IM.

i have fought with a solicitor on my side and got pretty much no where.

they made an offer of giving me a replacement car, of similar age and milage.

i bought mine brand new in may last year, ive had 3 engines and it requires a 4th now. And i get offered an EX demo car. I declined so im fighting for compo and im selling the car.

Mine too is the biggest heap of sh*t i have ever owned.

But, its caused by the dealer my problem, its the way in which it was rebuilt not the car its self.

they wont, been through that route

the problem is, when they rebuild the engine, there using a short motor, i have been told by someone who knows what there talking about, that there is oil seeping from the right side of the engine where the cylider head is. Subaaru will only authorise the parts that hey think need replacing. and that des not include a whole new engine.

plus, then i have a major problem if any other subsequent problems follow, one garage blames the other. No thanks, its bad enough already. Taking a new car away from a dealer to have that kind of work done is a definate NO NO IMO

You ll have to get the car looked at by a mechanic definately, but i can't be arsed anymore, so its sitting in my garage until someone buys it .

i cant be bothered to take it to a dealer-i wouldnt wish on anyone what ive been through

forget selling it - you wont get anywhere near £25k for yours

All you need to do is tell the finance company - they are legally obliged under the section 74 and/or section 56 of the consumer credit act 1974 to ensure that the goods that they are financing are of merchantable quality/fit for use .... job done - they will get a replacement (substitution) car for you.

end of.

I'd be going beserk if I had this car and the dealer wasn't fixing it... I can't believe your so flipant about this 25k car you've only had for a few months. Good to see some honesty from the seller though... the car is f***ed (already) and he is happy to admit it.
