Default Spedo dial kit

Has anyone fitted a lockwood dial kit to a scooby before?

I have just bought some for my car as i have just got a derestrictor and need a speedo that goes up to 180 not 110MPH. Problem is that i have just done a typical bloke thing and not read the instructions before fitting.

All the dials were going fine until i came to the rev counter, i just removed the needel without reading this "to find the possition of a needel that has a rest peg, the needel has to be lifted over the rest peg and allowed to travel anticlockwise until all spring tension has been relesaed then mark this point before removing the needel" now i haven't got a clue where this resting place is!

Does anyone remember where it should be at the rest position?

If you could tell me like a clock e.g. where the number 5 would be on a watch face. This would really help

Thanks

Hi Chris,
From what I remember on mine the needle came to rest in approx the 6.30 to 6.35 position.
Hope this helps a bit and always read the destructions before doing just that!!!!!
