) what is fact and what is fiction here Julie(allegedly)?

Okay I give in you're Julie! Only women can employ guilt trips quite so effectively!

according to Jap Performance magazine, if it's the DCCD equiped car with the different suspension, it's a Version 9.
don't know why some writers have dropped the Version numbers from their write ups while others still use them?

According to Pat I have a Version 10 so Julie's must be a Version 9.

Subaru numbered versions 1 to 6. None of these cars were officially imported into the UK. When they introduced the New Age cars Subaru stopped numbering the STI models. UK cars were introduced long after the NewAge STI was launched in Japan and it was named Subaru Impreza WRX STI Type-UK . The only way to describe these cars is by using their model year; talk of 'STI7' and 'STI8' is absolute and complete bollocks. Had there ever been an STI7 , it was a JDM STI launched in October 2000... By that reckoning we are currently about to see the MY07 STI 14.
This endlessly perpetuated bollocks should be added to the SN Book of Crap.
