eu import sti MY03

Default eu import sti MY03

looking to change my cars so am after a classic sti/R (for trackdays) and a MY03 sti for everyday use plus the missus can drive it..
anyway been to a local dealer (non franchise) and they have a MY03 (52reg) STi blobeye done 15k however the car originates from Cyprus -
any consequences of buying an eu import or not..? i suppose the dealers would be ok servicing it and its out of warrenty anyway... ANY differences between the two (no matter how small - please list)

what sort of price should i be looking to pay..? (Wants 13k)

Dealers would be happy to take your money for servicing but as its out of warranty a specialist who is local to you would be cheaper and better.

Not sure about the spec on that age of Cypriot car - I think I remember reading that some Cypriot cars in the past were JDM spec and not Euro spec like they are now.

If it is EU spec, no Locking wheel nuts, no tracker, no mats. There's probably another thing or two, but i can't remember now.

Generally the EU cars are slightly less than the Type UK's. But for pretty much the same spec car, there's bargains to be had.

I think you should be paying around £12-12.5. If you can get it cheaper, then all the better, as the residuals are pathetic......but who cares about that.

If i wanted an investment, i'd of bought property. I wanted an STi!
