then when some kid in his boy racer corsa thought he could get up my *** on the motor way i just put my toe down and before i knew it he was about 2 miles back
all i got to do now is insure it which is going to cost the money but it will be well worth it
cant wait to get home from work to take it out for a spin its going tobe a long day to day i can feel it already.
i will post some pic when i work out how to do it

Aghh!! So you raced another car on a public road with no insurance? My aren't you the clever one? What if you had an accident? what if you had hit MY car? You are the reason why my insurance company wanted £1100 to insure me this year......

you cant tell me when u got your first scoob u didnt put your toe down on the motor way, i dont think anyone who uses this forum infact anyone who has ever owned a scooby has not put their footdown on the motorway when they first get one and had a little race race with another car.

As long as ur not an idot about it and have some driving ability i don’t see why you wouldn’t occasionally put ur foot down a little, i don’t own my impreza because its slow i own it cos its a revolutionary rally car made for road use. Before its said i know that if you want to hammer it around then you should use a track but i think its healthy to show the little chavs in their: corsas what the impreza boys and girls are made of once in awhile.

im not going to be hammering it every where there is no need for it (also cant afford all that fuel all the time) but as you say these chavy boy racers in their corsa do need showing up time to time
my mum is going to book me a track day at castle combe for my bday in two months and i will be getting a instructor to give me lessons there on how to drive the track properly and how to drive the car properly

Not worth a two fistedham shank matey, when i bought my brand new WRX with PPPi found out that it was'nt actually covered for the PPP. It was A-Plan who alerted me to this and advised me to double check. The Asian chappie on the phone from NU did'nt have a clue and after a clueless debate decided hecould'nt offer me cover.....good job i did'nt have an accident then.
My advice to you would be to contact a specialist insurer like A-Plan, or have a look in insurance on this site for other knowledgable specialists. Keep well away from the likes of NU.......unless you drive a Nissan Micra like one of 30 MPH in fifth gear blue rinse brigade.

You lot on here are a strange breed, quite amusing though I must admit.
Welcome Dan, hope you enjoy your car, read through this forum and you will learn lots. The main thing is learn to drive sensibly in your Impreza, it is very easy to be tempted by lesser cars but it will wear off.
Look after yourself and your motor.

Norwhich union suck i would not use them again the guy didnt understand a word i was sayin since when does a turbo 2000 sound like a RB5?????
