Hi everyone, just thought I'd pop by and say hello.
Picked up my first Scooby a week ago today. I still can't believe how fast it is!
Sounds great too. I love that burble.
I'm curious to know how much power she's pushing out. Does anyone know. It's a 1995 Classic WRX fresh Japanese Import.

Good you'll have the bigger TD05 turbo (later models had the TD04)

Sorry 'bout that Scoobynutta. As you can probably tell I've spent the last month and a half trawling through classifieds looking for the right motor. The 'fresh import' tag is used quite a lot.The SIDC faq section reckons on 276 bhp
Certainly feels like it.While I'm on, does anyone know if the Impreza has an air-con filter 'cos it smells faintly like a wet dog when I turn it on. I tried looking in the owner's manual but wouldn't ya know it......it was all in Japanese.

Had scoobies for three years now but slowly making my way up to the big boy models!!!
had a 1997 2.0 sport mica green silver alloys no modifications fssh for my first. fantastic in the snow!!! work in Buxton so go over the Cat & Fiddle everyday.
currently have 2.0 dark blue GX 2001 Sport. sorry..... but i love it!!! can't you tell i'm female!
when i told my insurance company i was upgrading from my 1.1 Fiat Punto to a Subaura Impreza they laughed!!! how rude!!!
whole family have them, dad used to rally for EARS in Macclesfield he got me into them.
have been reading the forum it's great.
i have noticed going from a classic to a bug eye that more peole wave at classics!!! some chap in a green turbo (you know who you are!!) always used to wave but doesn't now.
I pass a silver sti every morning on the CAT covered in stickers or is it a WRX??? so fast can't see!!! He works in Macc. Wave next time!!!!!!!
