You need to change the support springs too as the STI spoiler is a lot heavier. If you don't it will slam shut without you holding it open

scoobyclinic for mine £450 plus vat fitted and painted. looks mint and great quality. If you buy cheap there usually crap quality and a body shop will charge you a fortune getting it prepped for painting due to inperfections. IMHO that is.

mine as fitted

Yes, that's absolutely correct, I got a 22b style Spoiler for my classic cheap. In terms of its shape, it looks fab, but the finish is appalling and the paint shop pretty much said for the cost of me getting it fixed, I may as well get a new one. Buying cheap can be a false economy!! There is an article on Scoobyworld about Ebay spoilers, not sure if they obtined it from the company beign referred to.

have to totaly agree the cheaper ones for the classic aka sti5/sti6 only work out about £20-£30 cheaper by the ime you've had painted fitted etc cos the paint jobs you get from ebay are crap

I'd avoid joy tuner like the plague too... totally $hite spoilers if you ask me - again cheap does equal false economy (sometimes, and this is one of them).
