Default New wagon owner

Hi all,

I pick up my new ride on Saturday a 52 plate WRX wagon, I can't wait. I have had a Civic Type-R for 3 years and needed a 5 door estate for family reasons but wanted to keep a sporty/performance emphasis.

Its standard as of yet but I'll be keeping my eyes open for some subtle mods, anyone got any decent mods for a wagon?

I'll post pics up at the weekend if I manage to stop driving it and I'll get my *** over to the wagon thread too.

I see you've found scoobynet also!

I think that Demon Tweeks are still giving Scoobynet members a discount on whiteline components, ring them up and ask for Dave Featherstone, his details are in a whiteline thread in the group buy section.

Uprate the rear ARB ('swaybar') also, but don't go for anything smaller than a 22mm or you won't notice any difference. Mine has a 24mm adjustable one on the back but that's a classic wagon.

If you need help fitting it, or want your ARB brackets strengthening (you weld metal in the hole in the bracket) just give me a PM. Much cheaper than paying £30-£40 for the whiteline uprated brackets. Not 100% sure if this applies to new age versions but a classic with 24mm ARB you need to do something!

So far an HKS Hybrid Panel, De-resonated centre, WR Sport BB, Powder coated Prodrive PFF7's, Prodrive Lights, UK 300 red calipers, carbon fibre side makers, Silvertec bulbs and mesh fog Covers.

Things you can't see, leather interior, SEC's Unit, front and rear strut brace. Because I use the back I fitted quick release bolts on the rear strut.

Remember wagons are faster (especially if they're blue )
