Gary is my current insurance guy at Keith Micheals, as they were the best one around for insuring my import.

Aplan wont insure under 25's

Will try confused later..... I got a good quote from Elephant, but because of the car I wanted to use a specialist insurer that knows what they are on about, not some spotty geek that thinks a corsa gsi is also a performance vehicle.

Thanks all

When I phoned them today they said....
As a name driver they wont... They said the normally try to push them through from 23 onwards, but wont even bother applying to under writers for 21 .

If it's your car then you have to be the policy holder and not the named driver. Make sure all your paperworks in order and you have your story straight if you end up making a claim.

Naz.

Ps. I'm no saint, but just thought i'd point the above out so you dont get any surprises later.

And the other down side... You wont build no NCB, so over the years your policy wont come down and cost you more in the long run

Yep - make sure the policyholder and the regstered keeper are the same or you could be in bother at claim time (from a claims guy).

Thats not true i owned a old vectra and it been round the family with others insuring it and it is in my name. As long as you tell them the truth when you insure it they will quaote you accordingly.
