Default 10,000 mile service

have just hit 10,000 miles in my MY05 WRX PPP and need the service (£165) in the prospect of moving house at the mo and skint, is there anyway to get this cheaper by buying your own parts?

cheers

Mickey

are you sure, pert of the deal is that A either the labour is free
or B, the parts are free.

you need to have a service done to keep the warranty valid

I guess that depends when it was bought - if the free servicing offer was on - but I guess Mickey would know that if it was.

I'd say get it done - my 10k service cost me about £250

was only wondering because aparently if you get the oil filter which subaru approve then its cheaper!

from gilesgate, the 10k service cost me £109.48 in VAT

nime was bought in May 05, Mickey didnt buy his brand new from the dealer so may not have neeb made aware of the free stuff, if in fact it had it at all.

Get it done at an independent. Your warranty is fine as long as they are suitably skilled, use OE parts or better and are VAT registered. Supply your own oil and filter to save some more.
