From sources within Prodrive, I have heard that deliveries of MY01's have been delayed.

Apparantly Prodive are having problems producing the blindfolds that it has been deemed neccesary to issue to all prospective customers. The problems centre around the colouring of the bought in blindfolds to the Prodrive spec of blue. Apparantly the dye used is causing the fabric to bobble.

It looks like they may well get away with issuing the STi blindfolds produced in Japan and replace the blindfolds as and when the Prodrive stock becomes available. Apparantly you will be able to keep the original blindfold issued to you when you go to the dealership, but that only the fabric part of the blindfold will be replaced, the strap will be re-used when the Prodrive part is available.

The Delay is down to shipping out of the STi items which should only lead to a 2 or 3 week delay over what we were originally told.

Paul,its no wonder Subaru UK wont service your car with comments like that.

 

As part of the PPP, I thought they were issuing special crafted paper bags for ones head, to protect the driver from humiliaton and ridicule
