The STi RA had the roof vent but was a 4 door (WRX had no vent).
The 2 door model being the Type R, However I'm not sure if they were available with a roof vent.

Type Rs are indeed available with a roof vent.

I think there are two versions though.

The V3 Type R had a 555 model with a vent and the V6 WRC also has a vent too. There may be more variants but these two I know about.

Regards

Esh

Type R = 2 door and Type RA (Race Altered) = 4 doors.

Are you serioulosly looking to purchse the car? Why not post the ad?

Hi EC8

Take a look at these. Saves you asking later.

Remember if you buy cheap you generally end up buying twice.

Good luck mate

Two door Type-RAs were available; not all WRX 2 doors were STIs. Doubters should look at the applied model numbers.

After a lot of searching to find exactly what model it was (R or RA) Subaru of Japan confirmed it is actually a WRX Type R. A lot of people think of it as a 2 door Type RA which was also confirmed that there is no such thing. The reason so many think its an RA is down to it having the same engine as the RA which is why it shares a similar chassis number.
Hope this help clear things up as it took me ages to find all this out, and to understand the jap guy that informed me
