Had TRACKER MONITOR on my last car, and TBH, i wouldnt have another unless my insurance requested it and the policy was that cheap it would warrant taking it out in the first place.

If my car was stolen, its not that special that i would want it back if some ****** stole and abused it

Mine has a RAC Trackstar. Only has that cos it's fitted as standard.
Don't know if its any better or worse than others on the market.

I agree with u m8 i wouldnt want to see my car again but the insurance is a lot cheaper with some companys if a tracker is on the car.

My new car has the RAC Trackstar installed & that does make a difference to the insurance, some insurance companies won't cover scoobys without them.

Tracker used to call me for fun im sure,

even considered changing my number at one point lol, after 2 weeks of it alerting the call center (alarm was not going off) i had it taken back to the supplier and a new unit installed. seemed to do the trick. strangely it was always early hrs of the morning it went off,

My '99 classic has a tracker fitted by a previous owner, after looking into the cost of re-registering the tracker in my name I decided not to bother, as it would of cost a whole lot more than what I would be saving on the insurance.

Not really a subject that we should be asking of our members for obvious security reasons as it is a stealth fitment designed not to be aware to the ******* that come to nick it, so that we can get them back.

So you don't mind if I close this thread.

Thanks
