I don't think this car is what you think it is! I've also been looking at this. Rang them tonight to get someone to check it's definitely a WR1. They came back with yes and it's grey!! Also checked the DVLA website and it is shown as being grey while all other WR1's are identified as being blue.

Be wary as I've had this problem with this company before. Travelled over an hour each way to find out an STI was actually a WRX!!

Yep, know what you mean. I wasn't over the moon either! My heated discussion didn't seem to make much difference either as the car was still on their website as an STi two weeks later, un-sold surprisingly!!

So, we need a volunteer to go down there and give them some aggro if it isn't what we already really know it isn't.

Might have a big flashy premises but still strike me as a shady little back street dealers. Went to the one in Wednesbury when looking for a car for the missus, wandered round for a while, realised what a clueless bunch of idiots worked there, and quickly became fed up of the high pressure sales technique. We just wanted to browse but couldn't do that with being followed around by salesmen desperate to get a sale to increase their commision bonus. Walked out again within about 20 minutes.

I'd avoid Carcraft to be honest, when I was looking for a Saxo I went there (Sheffield). They wanted more for a 4 year old one than an brand new one from Citroen cost!!! Plus the new one was better spec! I don't think they are good places for deals, but are good places for looking at different cars for a nosey. They helped put me off the new Astra and onto the Scoob.
I also didn't like how you had to walk past the sales people to get in, they had tables that you sat down at and they took your details before you could browse.

Carcraft's nickname is 'Carcrap'. I wouldn't buy anything from them.

At that price it seems unbelievable, and it probably is.

Can't you get them to email you a pic?
If not, go through the WR1 spec and confirm the details.

But if it's grey, it's not a WR1
