The first guy is well scary, he's doing nearly 170mph with a one hand on the wheel and the other steadying his voodoo camera. I know I drive a bit quick now and then, but he needs to give his head a shake.

 

I liked it when he panned around to the speedo and you got a glimps of the engine warning light on... muppet - buggering that poor WRX!

I "think" its a mitsubishi eclipse judging by the rear spoiler and window.

 

170mph!!!!!! I think not.. He was showing 260kph which in old money is 144mph...Which in real money is about 130-35mph.

That CEL may as well have been flashing the contact number for David at APi!

 

It was approx. 270kmph... 169mph round up to nearest mph (that's where the 170 came from).

Even when factoring a 10% speedo variance (shouldn't be anywhere near that much!) that is still over 150mph... surely you can tell just by the video he's going faster than 130-135mph! I reckon he is traveling over 160mph easy - the car is geared for very near 170mph flat out in top and he is virtually in the red.

Btw 260kmph in real money is 162.5 mph - no idea where you got 144 from.

 

Seen that second vid before, made me **** when i saw it

 

On my STi running GEMS the CEL light now comes on at max power. So that is how this WRX might be setup. Just a thought.
Pity the camera skills of the passenger in the second clip weren't that good. Funny though
