Driveability mate.

MSD are the best mappers in the ford scene.

Fair enough, have you had your's mapped by them?

It's just there website is a bit vague. If you have a MY97-98 and they can map it for £300-350 then BARGAIN!

I'm only 15 mate

They have got an awesome rep in the ford scene often touted as the best mappers.

Driveability is what they pride em selfs on.

Would be good to get a car done by Andy F then get MSD to do it and compare

Hi Bat-fink
As you know mate, i frequent PF myself, having a RS before my scoob,I have spoke to Stu at MSD and he has told me that i would be better off to go someone who deals with scoobs.
Now if i wanted i could still go to him for the work then there would be absolutely no problem and gladly take on the re-mapping.
BUT stu being the honest and honourable chap that he is advised me otherwise.

Im my mind he has gained even more of my esteem(sp) for this advise rather than taking on the work himself.

I had an MSD Vectra GSi from 2000 to 2002, at the time was a very quick car.

Dont think so..

MSD were given the contract to produce the Vectra GSi for Vauxhall. They all had a plate next to the VIN with MSD and a serial number stamped in it.
Vauxhall would deliver standard V6 SRis to MSD and then MSD mapped the engines and also dropped new cams into the engine. 25bhp up on standard Vectra. They also fitted the body work and seats, suspension, exhaust etc etc. Then sent out to Vauxhall.

Mate of mine is due a to have some mapping done by MSD on his 2.0 8V Astra GTE to take into account some engine modifications he has done. By all accounts they do a very good job at least on Ford and Vauxhall.
