Default PRODRIVE DRIVE DAYS

Received a letter and a glossy brochure from Prodrive today. It is advertising a Drive Day at the SWRT test facility. Cost is £250, have any of you on Snet been to one of these events? Feedback good or bad will be most welcome.

I went on one a couple of months ago, at their test track outside Warwick, it was excellent A lot of instruction on setting the car up in and out of corners, skid control, off roading (in an Isuzu Trooper and a Forester) and generally getting the Scooby more towards it's limits than you may do on the road

Top day, top instructors, and top food

Ian

P.S. Hello everyone

Have to agree Prodrive are wonderful Hosts I have been to the Prodrive Track at Kennelworth(SP) 5 Times doing "Trackdays", 2 Prodrive-live (£200-300), 2 Dealer days (free ish) and 1 with 1 ARDS instructor and 2 drivers(£350) and Once I had my 02PPP checked out and Mike Wood took me around awesome

I must admit I absolutely loved the Skidpan and Adverse Handling sections and suprisingly Enjoyed the 4x4 course, I do some Trackdays so Circuit was O/K

IMHO

Yeah, but as they say it's to setup road cars so it's a bit harsh. I've not done a track day but I assume that they're smoother

Forgot to add, the tarmac stage rules

Ian,

The Adverse handling is the Tarmac stage with the Prodrive-live, groupn Subaru's had the Brake Servo's disconnected now that took some getting used to

BTW the 2:1 coaching with ARDS instructor was £350 and we used our own Cars, not thiers .
