Is my 95 Classic a special Edition??!!
Hi ppl,
trying to find out exactly what model my import 4 door turbo is...i've rang dealers but coz of it's age they can't get details using my chassis number (plus with it being an import).
It's mica black so i believe (has a red fleck in the paint)
Grey trimmed door cards and seats with STi on seat backs.

I have black with red metal flake too. Nobody believed me at the cads meet the other week!
Could be a WRX with STi parts on.
What does it say on the green slip?

UK reg document just has Subaru on it 
I know there was a V Limited subaru in 1996 with the GC8 chassis like mine with the same 250-260bhp..but did it come in mica black?!
Could be wrx with STi parts

Should say wrx or sti near to the top!
Mine says impreza wrx 1998cc

Its a standard car; the Black Mica was a standard colour, although its quite rare. There are a couple of things that make me think that its a MY95 car and there werent any special editions then. The only thing that it could be, if it was a MY94 car, is one of the 300 (one run of 100 and one run of 200) STIs. If this were the case though itd have an STI plaque on the inner wing and a number of other features.
It just goes to show how much nicer STI3-type rear lamps are than chavved-up 'Lexux' lights doesnt it?

look on sidc website click subaru imports faq click 4 some info on there the one that i found interesting though was iwoc.co.uk loads of info for impreza imports found out alsorts about mine good luck

You should read what Ive written again and think about it... What do UK cars have to do with 'Black Mica' being the only JDM black? Take your time now.
