On a serious note.......as my name implies I was the owner of 2 x cashmere yellow scoobs, one I have sold, in fact the car people in Leeds have it in their showroom and have reduced it several times now down to £20500 ...not bad for a 900 miler STi 6...the other yellow scoob is under bubblewrap in my garage...if I had the choice again I would not choose yellow, I'm sure your contemplating the colour for all the same reasons as I did...ie; to be different...stand out....less nickability....future higher value coz a bit rarer...etc.....the car caused me no end of probs, got stopped numerous times by plod, stone chips etc became very noticible and everyone...I mean EVERYONE stopped and gawped, having said that down at Silverstone at the SIDC arena where there were about 100 scoobs mine the only yellow, it didn't attract that much attention, people were more impressed with the blues!!!!When I came to part with the car I struggled and had to fight my way out losing almost £5k in less than 2 months, mainly due to it's colour.
Hope this helps somewhat from someone who is in a genuine position to comment.

I had a yellow Manta [stop laughing] and got stopped all the time.
In the end I sold it to a friend as I only got ridiculous offers from buyers.

The manta was a fine beast in it's day, I started off with a vauxhall firenza ( think that's hoe it's spelt )a wicked 2 door coupe that blew most things away at that time...mk1 escorts, mk3 cortinas etc....god I'm showing my age now.

Though if it had been an option I'd have had <B>lime green</B>.
