Firstly thanks to SCOOBYCLINIC for offering to check out my car Free Of Charge and stopping me from making a very silly decision (and saving me from losing a few grand!!)

Went down this afternoon and spoke to the chaps at scoobyclinic who gave it a once over and informed me my STi had uprated pistons when the engine was rebuilt - which in turn are slightly louder than normal - there was nothing to worry about and they have gave it the all clear. Thanks chaps and I really appreciate all you did.

p.s. To the parties that showed interest in the car - I hope you understand that the low price was down to me being misinformed locally the engine was on its way out... It clearly isn't therefore may sell for offers around £8500 - If it doesn't sell the guys at SC will be seeing more of me as i'm going for some upgrades (Turbo/ECU Remp etc...) ONCE AGAIN THANKS SCOOBYCLINIC!!!!

Totally deserve their reputation as being the best place for Scoobies around.
