Post Service Parts..Standard or Uprated?

I am going to get MY87 uk 2000 turbo serviced in 2 weeks time, but i want to use all up rated parts and not the standard subaru parts, will this make it run better or is it a waste of money.

Also does anyone know all the uprated parts that i need to get instead of the standard ones?

Thanks.

I think heads are being scratched and archives being searched in the hope of identifying this 87 UK Turbo.
I shall assume you mean 97 UK Impreza Turbo.
For service parts use standard Subaru items.
Unless you have an uprated example where, for example, you might need a different grade of spark plug.
Now if you want to discuss which oils to use in the engine, transmission and rear diff, 2 weeks won't be long enough.
