Default dump valve

HELP im looking to fit a dump valve to my 99 sti type r, but i dont realy like the noise they make,can i get one that will do the same job but without the noise. cheers lads

true, but i heard they a not that good,just wondering if you can get a aftermarket one,the oe part on mine has a small crack in it needs to be changed

i have a standard subaru valve from a my 99 uk turbo if thats any help.....is in perfect order

cheers bpm prob is im in ireland so wont be able to pop down to pick it up.
did you replace your one with a vta one ?

im in ireland to!.....newry co.armagh

i did replace the standard one with a vta forge dumpvalve but have since sold the car so i have the standard one here.

There are no benifits by fitting a VTA dumpvalve over the re-circulating one that you have now.
You will also suffer 'overfueling' if you fit a vta, due to metered air being vented.

I have vta on my98 Turbo, i love the pops out the exhaust now that i have this fitted.. Each to their own i guess.

i take it the pop's are from the over fueling?do you get the same pop's from a antilag.
