Cars covered in stickers?
I'm sure it's been covered before but what the hell.
A simple question that perhaps someone can answer.
Why do a disproportionate number of Subaru owners(compared to other marques)seem to feel the need to cover their cars in stickers?
What's the attraction?

I have a mixed view on this.
Not really into it myself, but if it's what others choose to do, so be it.
My brother owns a series McRae and it's got the full works decals.
When we went to view it I was'nt that impressed, but he was.
It's grown on me a little, but still prefer my "naked" one

i had them all over mine for a few years, but it was advertising first my mates business and then my new business, so there is no option for me
although my car is now factory looking bar the updated front bumper and its all one colour, i found the attention was getting on my nerves with the rally slag look, when i just wanted to nip down the shops for some cans and i was getting harassed by kids with cameras
i am to old now

I went for Option 1, but I have a sticker on my car !!
Having said that, it's a very discreet "ecutek" sticker above the WRX badge.
It's even colour coded with the car - green.
Scoobs with huge grapics are nutz !

My car has the proper full rally decals on it in the right colour and the power to match and im not an old fat bald man, and i always get good comments about my car. Does that make me a **** ? Each one to their own.

I had them renewed a year ago and there were no problems with the paint work whatsoever.

Hate Rally decals on scoobys if im honest but then again thats why i havent got them on mine, cant really see why u`d make a thread about it-what ppl do to theirs is their business,u may aswell have added lexus style rear lights/afterburner rear lights/daft bodykits and chrome wheels to the list theres plenty of ways to **** the looks of a scooby up without stickering it up.

I respect you for your personal tastes, but just because my car is "stickered up" does that make me a **** as the original post suggests.

Well, that's just Vapid's emotive language, isn't it?

When we sell our vans after being covered in the corperate vinyl livery (same stuff, btw). Evidence of the stickers presence is still noticeable.
Even after cutting and mopping it to remove the marks, after leaving it out to stand in the elements for a few weeks, the marks come back.

stickers
Why buy a fast road car and spend £100's or £1000's on mods to make it faster (Because you want to) just like people putting graphics on there car (because they want to) people are different.
I like graphics on the old classics but not on the new models
Just my opinion

That's hopelessly ungrammatical, Ali.
