how to get a good launch up the strip ??

^as title^

I got a 14.5 and a 14.6 saturday morning at the pod beating a gt4.
has anybody got any tips 4 launching a standard 260bhp 1995 wrx ?? i didnt use my handbrake i just revved to 4k and let fly. i thought i had a good start and my gear changes fealt perfect. the car is in very good condition.

should i use my hand brake ? if so how ?

What 60ft were you getting, then we'll know how good/bad you are.
More revs would help tho. I launch my Gtir at around 5.5-6K and average low 1.8s-1.7s. ( I was getting 1.83s with 246bhp)
