I have got the exact car, i have had it for a couple of weeks and for that time i have averaged about 24mpg, that includes 7 miles to work and 7 back. But it also included a motorway journey to Trafford Centre (that cost me a lot more than fuel).

I am keeping track again but when i put my foot down the fuel guage is in free fall.

LPG it stay under 3.5k on normal drives (yeh right) and you'll do 200+ miles for £20.

Ever tried just driving under 3.5k in each gear, need a help group forming

I am averaging around 19-21 MPG for my 7 mile journey to work. Mixture of stop start 30 mph (3 miles) and the rest is 50mph free flowing.

On longer journeys i have had 28-32 MPG but average around 25mpg..

when first got the car never really got more than 15 for the first few weeks.

Babble fish needed..

My mate's std 05 wrx averaged around 22 when new (95% urban/traffic/shortish journeys). Once mapped with decat etc (276x266 @PS) it actually improved to around 23-24 regardless of how it was driven (with the exception of around 26 on an off boost m/way run).

Recently upgraded a few other things (VF35/Pinks/walbro) and remapped (DD'd@ 348x333) now returns the same ave. 24 around town but does drop a little (~20) if given some beans. If driven 90% off boost 25-26 is achievable. Given the performance I'd say that's bloody good..!

One other thing to bear in mind is that scoobs seem to return better MPG the more miles they do..

Why have a scoob with PPP and run it on 95 ffs..?!! Even if it's only the occasional tank-full, it will take several tankfuls of decent stuff before it performs the way it should..! Even prodrive recommends using 98..
