Good find that vid
Would love to see the excuses on MLR as the scooby wins for once To be honest I'd have thought the evos were more cut out for that track lark.... Pleasantly surprised! those Spec C's must really be something.

Great Video. The Spec C must be a amazing drive. Good to see the New Impreza has caught upto the evo on Handling.
Did anyone else notice the Tricky Footwork of the jap drivers, especially when braking and clipping the accelerator at the same time to keep the revs up for Boost. Very Impressive.
Not ever tried that before.
Has anyone tried that on trackdays before to see what advantages it gives, but i guess it will cook your brakes quicker.

That's actually heel and toeing - to match the engine revs to road/wheel speed when coming down through the box - minimises stress on the box and keeps car stable. Everyone does it on track, or probably should, and a lot of us do it on the road too out of habit, unless completely pootling around.
Scooby matt too quick for me!!

I believe the FQ versions are UKDM models that are modified after they arrive.
These will be JDM models where the Spec C and Evo will have pretty similar out of the factory power (on 100RON
).
Over here a standard Spec C on V power will put out around 315bhp, pretty much the same as the FQ320.

Juggers in answer to your question after taking my ra round croft last weekend on a trackday I would say the mitzi would have been passed after the first lap.
