Very nice looking car does look very sexy, But personally id save and buy the real deal

I agree. No disrespect to the current owner as it looks mint and I bet the mods cost a small fortune but at that price a high mileage 22b will only be around 3k more. Or a mint 22b with low miles should be IRO 20k.

Seen high mileage 50k+ miles 22B for around £20k with below 30k miles for around £25k or a very mint one with 2.5k miles on Auto Trader for £45k

I dont know what insurance is like on both cars, but Id say the 22B would be slightly more, due to its expensive parts and the fact its a 2.2 litre.

I agree.... I wouldn't touch a 22B in the £15-£20k bracket.

As for insurance, believe it or not, but a UK 22B (if you can find one ) is cheaper to insure than a Type R

There's a 22b (#233) for sale at a dealer (non-Subaru) here in Dublin 30k miles 32k euros (around £21.5k).
