Default Have I got a good deal?

Just going to get 4 Toyo Proxes TR1's fitted on my car for £510. 225/40/18's. Is that reasonable? The garage seems to think so!

I have looked on the net but I'd have to get them fitted and balanced when I got them so getting them today works ok price wise

Try event-tyres.com based in Manchester and will fit them on your drive, Think it cost me around £365 for four F1 Eagles about six months ago.( They were 17"s though)

Many of the WYIOC buy Vredestein UltraC for £68 each from Tyre4Less. Add a bit for fitting and they are an outstanding tyre for a superb price.

Very steep for a mid range tyre, I paid £340 for 4 avon zz3s fitted 225/40/18, More than a match for the Toyos, and better in the wet! I really can't believe how much grip they have compaired to Toyos and £££££s cheaper!

Thought the Toyo T1R's were meant to be really good in the wet, are the Avon's definitely better?
