removing the wiper stalks......
After wiring it up i realised that when i kill the switch it also kills the power off there and then ! so the wipers wouldnt return to thier start position and i'm sure that they have to for the MOT dont they
so i have re-sasses the situation and i think i need to make some switches off form the circuit board after the capacitors & resistors etc so that the intermittant works but more importantly the wipers will return to down rather than having to guess when they are near
This is the positions of the switch in order to make the wipers function....
Wipers Off = 1. and 3. & 4. (connected)
Intermittant = 1. & 2. (connected) and 4. & 5. (connected)
Medium = 2. and 5. & 6. (connected)
Fast = 2. and 6. & 7. (connected)

Could i make a switch or three switches to have the three wiper settings ????? am i going to need a fancy relay set-up or am i looking straight past the simplicity of a solution ????
Any solutions greatly appreciated, apart for being to to leave it well alone
Thanks
Minty.

I've removed both stalks so that i can get in and out of the car easily enough with a full weld in roll cage, bucket seats and being 6'4". I have to remove the steering wheel for ease too so the rmoval of the stalks is a practical move, before i snap then off with my knees !!
