Didn't bother me, I took him to be an enthusiastic bloke where English wasn't his 1st language. Perhaps he was a little naive, but we all have to learn.

And certainly don't reply to it. Bit like fanning the flames that.
But don't put it in the Muppet section either.
This would suggest a post is started with this as the ultimate goal.

I promise you that nobody perduaded me to lock P1's account.

I have been trying to contact him for a couple of weeks and asking him questions which did not receive answers.

Quite frankly I was a little fed up that he would not even show me the respect of replying.

He has hounded us with questions which have no answers, then ignored the replies and gone off and asked another question in another thread.

Like I said, I have no problem with him posting AT ALL, if he is genuine, but I am starting to think that it is a wind-up.

All I ask is that he contacts me, otherwise, I must assume P1 WR is a joke of some sort.

I have locked his account in the hope that he will now contact me to discuss it.

It will be instantly opened again, once this happens.

I find lots of things irritating - TV Soap operas are near the top of my list of 100 irritating things - P1 WR may not even be on it, being only mildly irritating

People who rise to the bait and then complain - well!

We all have the choice to ignore posts we are not interseted in. Just exercise it.

For the record, I take a very light hearted view, and find it all quite funny.

Nope I learnt with Splinter and his aliases(SP), just to ignore it, if it is of no interest.

 

I thought he was a wind-up merchant from the start, then felt very guilty (especially after I lampooned his writing style) when it was revealed that the guy was Turkish.

I'm back to thinking he's taking us for a ride, but then, who cares? Let him play if he wants to.

Did P1 WR really annoy me?

His questions were annoyingly persistant and his habit of not responding to replies and simply starting a new series of questions in another thread was somewhat irritating.


However, his threads were always guaranteed to be a laugh, mostly because of the replies of other BBS members.


If P1 WR is a genuine Impreza enthusiast from Turkey, bent on accumulating a maximum amount of information from this 'fountain of knowledge' without due regard for the slagging he receives, then fair enough.
If gets the pi$s taken, he probably deserves it.

If P1 WR is a wind up merchant, who has spent weeks (months?) developing the P1 WR character then "nice one mate!" - we've been had!!!!

Either way, it's been fun...

I can't quite understand you guys sometimes. I am trying to figure this out but can't come up with a sensible answer.

You all get worked up and angry (?) at P1 WR, asking the moderators and Simon especially to ban him from this site, for what reason? What has done that was possibly so evil. I can't help but feel sorry for the guy now.

You tell me, you find the amusing banter and light hearted entertainment from our Turkish friend more irritating than the following posts:

Simon:-I am sorry that P1 WR did not reply to you're e-mail's....something might have been wrong..he may have been in hospital..etc..etc....But surely just because you got no reply's does not justify being barred?..forgive me if I am Wrong....but it was not fair...there was no foul language involved on P1's behalf...to warrant exclusion from the Great BB was there?..
You barred P1...what if he comes back as P2 or any other name...are you gonna keep banning every other name type that he comes up with?

Personally, I would have to agree with Simon De B, in that most if not all of his questions related to subjective charcteristics such as handling. I don't think it's possible that one configuration of Impreza can beat all the others in all conditions, so that did make the questions rather pointless.

Also, far from reponding to any of the answers, he would invariably start a new thread about something similarly subjective, or occasionally the same as the previous post.

Don't get me wrong, I don't think he's the spawn of the devil or anything, but I do feel that the inevitably sarcastic replies his posts received could deter other from asking questions for fear of being tarred with the same brush.

Giving him his own forum might be the only satisfactory solution.

 

 

Hmm...time to get some sense into him, this time in a language he understands..

I'm quite good at ignoring things that irritate. Not irritated by P1WR but probably not interested by P1WR's posts either.

I think it's a windup. A few people were hinting as much, suggesting that they knew who it was and reveal all soon. Also there were a lot of inconsistencies in what he was saying.

Assuming for a moment that P1 is for real, I found him annoying because I think he was quite rude. He'd ask these really vague questions then as soon as someone took the pi$$ out of him he'd come back and say "answer my question!". Being Turkish is no excuse.

Is Mr Nakai for real? Impreza is good in gymkhaha??!

I though P1 WR was ok. There were certainly some questions to be said about his posts, but at the same time.. they were so funny!
If he is Turkish, actually has a scoob or not or whatever - he certainly made me laugh, not only by his posts but by the way people got so worked up about them. If you don't like it - don't read it -simple? If you are going to going to get involved in the topic, then turn around and complain..aren't you just as bad? Probably not but chill out about it and be happy
