Need a new windscreen due to chip in front on drivers side, talked to Autoglass today and its ssshhh Import ehh , that'll take weeks !!! Probably from Japan...blah blah blah.
Can anyone confirm the windscreen glass for a standard UK 5 door is the same as a 94 WRX sti 5 Door, or is it a different shape ?

Just had mine done, and it's exactly the same as the UK.

I had my side window smashed about a year or so ago, I have a Japanese 95WRX and my windows are bronze tinted and all uk cars are Blue or Green, I did get it replaced by Autoglass but it was green and looked a bit silly. I eventually got a window from a breakers near Manchester and fitted it myself. You don`t realise what a pain it is to get a simple thing like a new window until it happens to you!! The shape of the window is the same but the tint is different. I hope this helps.

 

Aero did you get blue or green my windows are actually bronze/brown. Is there much difference ?

What breakers did you get your glass from, I will add them to my site.

 

I had a new screen fitted by Autowindscreen about 2 months ago, and I have a 95 WRX and it went straight in, wel it would have done if their monkeys hadn't have bodged it!

We got it resolved though as i just went balistic at the manager! The area manager turned up the next morning and had it sorted properly!

Make sure you get the tint coour right!
