Help please, i've hit the spoiler yet again on my poor wagon...
It seems I'm not safe from pheasants, kerbs, grass verges, multi storey car park ramps or speed bumps. My scoob wagon is a newage but has a different spoiler on which is really really far too low for normal everyday use. Can anyone suggest where I could buy one from that will suit the age of the car and be more practical. I do love the look of the one I have but it is looking really awful and scabby now with the fog light covers all cracked and the paint all coming off. I've looked on various websites and got a bit confused with the spoiler/splitter thing. Any advice gratefully appreciated and please don't anyone be too sarcastic about my driving - the spoiler really is just far too low. R4CHY

I'm a bit confused, is the front spoiler actually called a splitter or is a splitter just an extra bit you add onto the bottom of the spoiler. Sorry to ask a stupid question but I can't see where the joins are on mine to work out whether its in one piece, two pieces or more? Do you know of any good websites that have fairly explanatory pictures that would help me? Sorry to be a bit dim I just don't have any experience of body mods at all.

Did your front end look like this?

If so:-
There is the main bumper Blue bit
2 fog lamp covers, with the writing on them
2 side pods, either side with a little lozenger shaped lump on them
and the splitter which is the black bit across the bottom.
My car is 40mm lowered and I've had no probs with this arrangement, all available from Scott Lowe.
If not then we'll need a picky to work out what it is!!

Probably, that's why I'm asking because I don't know. I have had other cars with body kit and I've always just called them spoilers whether they be on the front or back. Hopefully someone can clear this up for me and then at least I will be looking for the right thing!

Here is possibly a better pic of the front splitter. The splitter screws into the bottom of the front bumper "splitting" the air that hits the front of the car. That's i think of it.
Scott Lowe Ltd
There's quite a few body kits around, so if it's not the above, i suggest uploading a pic and someone on here will know...
