NO SOUND !
FIRST MY CLUCH NOW DUMP VALVE HAS GONE DEAD ON ME !
SUBARU'S ARE JUST TO MUCH TO DEAL WITH
i really do not know what has happened to my dump valve, it was working fine, you could even hear it go off at 2000RPM !
but now its like theres nothing there at all. I would need 2 get to over 3000RPM & then i would be able to hear it go off ( much lighty tho )
Before I could hear my induction kit sucking the air in with the dump valve going mad at the end of it. Now its totaly gone off !
can any1 help me or advice me

I wouldnt have thought it should have been venting at 2k revs anyway?
Maybe the spring has gone in it. Or maybe someone has swapped it with a standard one on the sly, them damn kids.

Yeah mine did this MY00 turbo, the "dump" from the forge valve used to occur quite low down in the revs all the way upwards, and then one day nothing on changing gear. So i removed the dump valve off the front of the intercooler / interwarmer stripped it down being careful not to let the springs bounce out everywhere investigated the cause and it seems that the grease had just become sticky over time whilst being combined with dirty air and dust from in the engine bay (As the holes surrounding the dump valve let these in) I then cleaned the inards and outards (Noting where the old grease was based before removing it) and they came up like new seem as the housing is all stainless steel then applied new grease to the piston where the old stuff was, mounted it back onto the vehicle and all is like new now has been for around 5 months, of course another reason for this problem could be a faulty valve, a broken spring, lack of pressure etc - but in my case nice and simple just a good clean and a re-grease!
