Default 2003 Blob eye Type RA Ltd ???

Hi Guys,

1st off it's been a very long time since I was last on here (so long in fact I couldnt remember my user name so have re-registered). I've owned a classic shape WRX back in '96 and then went and bought a 2003 WRX, both from new. Anyway after a departure into the world of M5's and other cars I'm hankering after another scooby. I guess once you've had one the subaru DNA just gets under your skin !

Anyway enough waffle - I have a problem, for the 1st time in a long time I've found an Impreza that I cant identify. It's advertised as a 2003 S202 Sti Ltd number 69 of 400 (jap import). Now from memory the S202 was a bug eye impreza of 2002 and nearly always came in yellow. This car is a 2003 blob eye model in WR Blue with a roof vent and carbon fibre rear spoiler. The other noticable difference is that the car has yellow WRC stickers on the front spoiler in place of the pink Sti ones, oh and it has a totally black interior without the blue inserts.

So any ideas ? I'm keen on the car as its so unusual and the fact that it goes like stink !

Can anyone help identify the car or point me to a weblink or company that can check out the VIN and chassis numebr that i have ?

cheers in advance (and its good to be back !)

Whitey

IIRC that wasn't a 202 at all.

I don't like the new AT postcode thing as well.

Default thanks guys

yeah it looks a bit dodgy...it's more than likely an s202 with a new front end...which makes me not at all interested

so what to do...I've got about £15k burning a hole in my pocket and not sure what to buy, any suggestions ? my head says 2005 UK Sti but my heart says mint type r or a Jap 2003 Sti ...hhhmmm ??

If anyone knows of a jap Sti for sale for that sort of money then please by all means let me know !

Thumbs up

Juggers (see post above) can get hold of JDM STi's, send him a PM to discuss. He'll get you a cracking motor for £15k.

Default ok, so which car ?

cheers again for the replies fellas.

So then which car to get out of JPM Spec c or JPM Sti ? juggers has emailed me privately about 2 2005 motors. I'm just curious as to the differences between the 2 cars. One things for sure whatever I get will be remapped and decatted, etc so I guess I'm asking which car will be a better starting point for decent performance.

Any help, info or pointers towards a good source of info much appreciated.

cheers,

Steve
