how much would a 54plate WRX in good condition with 30k on the clock fetch around?

i'd be surprised if a dealer offered you more than 10,500

as much as someone is willing to pay! best bet is to look in autotrader to see what people are advertising them for!!

I paid £11,950 for an April 04 with 15,000 miles 5 months ago. That was from a dealer (non-subaru). Auto trader has an 05 with 12,000 miles on now for the same price, again trade. I'd guess similar money on a forecort for yours but private sale about £11k.

rang a dealer who said it would prbably fetch £13500

Only from a Subaru gargage mate. If you sell it privately or part-ex it you'll get nowhere near that. Just look on Auto Trader for proof.

just sold MY55 WRX 300 7000mls for £13300 to dealer ,most dealers had stock they couldnt shift so wernt interested ..

When you can buy an unused WRX06 for less than 16K it's bound to destroy the values of these cars.

Add to that image problems, general undesireability and the fact the cars aren't all that quick compared to the competition you have a heap of reasons why an Impreza isn't a very good buy at this end of the scale.
