Hi everyone, haven't been here for a while.
Anyway next year I will be selling my nova as I've had 9 of them and want to move away from Vauxhall's so I'll be selling my 2.0 16v twin 45's next year and would like a volunteer to help me buy a scooby next year as I've wanted either an evo, skyline or scooby for the past 2 years.
So once the nova goes then I'll be looking at quite a few scooby's before I make a decision.
The only 2 points that matter to me prior to buying a scooby is a) A full Manufacturers service history b) Colour has to be blue or red

Any chance of a 3rd point.....price range ![Confused](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/confused.gif)
...or a 4th....expectations
Are you after pub bragging HP or mindblowing handling; perhaps a combination of both. Maybe you want bling instead of zing
Or would you prefer a totally standard car, either 'cos you're scared of mods or want a blank canvas for your own modding plans
Your "point a" could be a little misguided, as there are a great many cars owned by enthusiasts who wouldn't trust a main dealer with their pride and joy, much prefering the care and attention an independent specialist often gives.
Gives us a bit more to work with and we'll help you spend your money

Ok point taken, my apologies for not posting a bit more.........here goes:
I'm looking to spend around about £3.5k so it's not going to be absolutely fantastic. I only stated about the service history as I've been stung so many times with my nova's that with a car like this.....it's going into a totally different ball game and I want to get it right the first time. All I really want is the right colour the right set of alloys and the evo spoiler which I will buy separately and a well maintained engine.
I've come on here hoping to find that volunteer/advice guide on getting my first one.
Well thanx for post whoring my topic guys

At £3.5k there are some OK cars, but you are right in the bracket to be spoon-fed every POS eBay has to offer too. Take your time, do your research and choose wisely. It may be worth traulling through the For Sale forum on here, as you can view the sellers previous 100 posts to get an idea what they're like and how the car may have been cared for

I wasn't sure where it was as I stumbled upon it in the middle of the night using the "New Post" facility.

Anyway I've had a look around and got a little idea of what sort of year of car I will get for not a lot of money........so my main concern is obviously actually looking at the car, engine, body work etc......don't want to end up buying a cut and shut
