Green STi badge

Have a 1994 XRX with an STi front bagde, only the background is green not red as standard.
Does anyone know why?

Ye well the Imreza XRX always came with a badge that had a green backround.Only the Impreza WRX had a pink backround.

All WRX's in Japan come with a green "I" badge, only STI's have the pink version, UK cars have the Subaru "Star" badge.
Are you sure your car is an STI?

What the ....... is a XRX ??? I know of the STX, RS, TS , TX and of course the SVX even
a WRX..
But can anybody explain what a XRX is ??

Just a guess....
I think XRX was a sarcastic link to the XR2/XR3 brigade that used to colour their ford badges in green....
Probably wrong though
