if its a 00 classic it will need a cambelt change, and usual oil change and filter change anything else depends on the car

I've had this service done on my Classic a MY00 T2000. It's a major service which includes changing diff and gearbox oil along with all the other oils and filters. Cambelt is done aswell and cost at a main dealer for this service should be about £400.

I've no idea, apart from general condition of the belt. Do you have the invoice for the work as well as the service booklet stamp? If you do then I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.

By the way, service intervals happen at certain mileages or EVERY SIX MONTHS, whichever comes first.

unfortuatly not i dont think just the stamp, with cambelt written over the top of it, but it was supplied and maintained by surrey subaru up until about 55k so ive no real reason to suspect any different, i just need to check the fluids and replace the filters then for 60k?

will it be worth putting a K+N filter as oppose to a new air filter if im doing it anyway?

Yes, but other posters have said it was due at 60k, which is wrong, AFAIK.

If by check you mean change then yes.

Stick with the standard air-filter wise. The oil in the K&N can monkey with the MAF and it does not add much in any case.

yeah i did mean change lol. its going to be off the road until the end of the year anyway

would something like a green panel filter be a better move than a k+n then?

Classics pre MY00.
Service every 7.5K miles or 6 months, whichever first.
Cambelt, 45K miles or 3 years, whichever first.
Plus, cambelt tensioner might need renewing, £ouch.
Possibly because the right procedure for compressing the tensioner has not been followed, even by main dealers.
If it's standard, keep it standard.
Look at 'plugs, if ok at least regap.
Fuel filter?
