I had the TSL group N backbox fitted a couple of weeks ago and although it sounds better it's not quite right. I see they do a straight through pipe to replace the resonator box (MY06), does anybody have any experience of removing it and the benefits ?

 

I got a TSL Typhoon back box and at the same time fitted the straight pipe to replace the resonator box. Don't know so much about power gains but it sounds awesome. Pops and bangs like a good un too. Well pleased with it.

 

I had a TSL group N BB fitted a few weeks ago (MY03STi) which improved the soundtrack no end and decat centre section will be next but speak with John at their sales dept.......top bloke

i've got the same bbox (2003) as you, get the centre section of ebay from 2 fast 2cool fits perfectly i bid at it and paid £60 and also got decat pipe as well (not downpipe cat) for £50
sounds spot on not to loud !
