Opinions on fun and driver satisfaction especially with handling for Turbo Forrester or Turbo Legacy.
Looking at cars of around the £10,000 to £12000 price range, probaby go for the estate Legacy.
Would consider 3L Spec B model but not sure of performance.
May change from my current Impreza and go more descreetly.

Forester without a doubt. A Forester is built on an an Impreza's under-pinnings: really its a high-capacity Impreza estate car...

Been looking at Forrester adds.
I need a work horse for work so looks like could keep the Impreza and go for a high mileage Forrester with FSH, would be nice to know difference in fuel consumption between turbo and the non turbo.
Turbo would be nice.
Non Turbo s going from £3000 upwards.

That said, voting twin-turbo Legacy GTB if you value low and mid range acceleration. Greater cargo capacity than the Forester too!

The Forester was essentially an Impreza with a high capacity body; thats why the Forester dashboard fitted straight in (the new Impreza interior was developed for the Forester). Thats different from the car sharing some common parts.

The only differences being body, interior and equipment levels.
The leggy has a far larger interior than the other two, and built better
