i thought the new 06/07 wrx has the same pcd etc as the sti 9/10

when i looked at a set of speedlines, im sure they said it was the same wheel for the wrx as the sti 10.

Pretty sure it was just the STi models that had the PCD increased to 114.5mm in 2005. All other models kept the 100mm PCD.

It was done to increase the bearing size in the hubs. Probably a Group N rally thing more than a road thing.

so they still kept the 2006 new shape wrx to 100mm pcd, can you buy pcd adapter to change to the 114.5 pcd.

any help would be great

nope - it would be a whole new hub at each corner - really not worth the hassle.

The bearings were increased in size as these detoriate quickly on subarus that are driven quickly or tracked and to try and combat it they increased the pcd.

Depends on what you mean by STi9 (which is why we shouldn't use the very confusing STi7/8/9/10/11/12/14 numbers)

If you mean 03MY STi then they'll fit straight on as they'll be 5x100.
If you mean 05/06/07MY STi then they won't as they'll be 5x114.3
