im African American, and i've been hovering over this site to get opinions on the STi because i'm still undecided on buying the STi or G35 coupe...I've seen one black guy with an STi, but he is not orginally from here...Subarus are not flashy enough for my area, so thats why you really dont see us in them.. The STi didnt catch my eye for its appearance, i truthfully think its an ugly car, BUT the performance and AWD are something i cant ignore, thats why im still doing more research..if the G35 coupe came in AWD the STi wouldnt even be an option....My culture has been watered down and its like you have to have all the fancy things to look good, since i'm black, i meet more black girls than any other race, and fancy cars are more attractive. You ask a black chic what a Subaru is and shes gonna laugh at ya..My sister thinks the STi is butt ugly and wants me to get the G35, but i want the STi to be different from the norm, i've done the fancy car and chrome rims already(was fun, met alotta chix)but God has blessed me with a handsome face so i really dont need a sexy car.You just dont see STi's in videos and on TV unless you play Gran Turismo...black males like cars that attract the females, and if you live in my area the STi is only sexy to car thieves.
