Question

A good mate of mine is dis-illusioned over the narrow-mindedness of European manufacturers not to match the Japanese market with their willingness to strive so closely to match the performance of their production cars with the rally spec version. He currently drives a nice Pug 206 GTI (need I say more ...), and is considering moving to a Jap car without moving into Scoobyland (I can't convince him, but admit my driving does you lot no service!).
Anybody know where he can get a good deal on a CTR import, since the queue for UK ones is too long for the patience of today's youth?

www.brokers4cars.co.uk quoted me £15k for a UK one the other day.
You can save about another grand by importing.

In the back of Evo there are a couple of adverts for around the £13k mark.

Pop into your local newsagents and get a copy of Car Import Guide magazine, and work your way through the adverts.

I'd guess it is probably possible to get one for £12k if you do the legwork yourself, but delivery times will probably be measured in months.
