Default Newbie.

Hey up.

I thought seen as I now own a Subaru (black Newage WRX) I might as well get registered on here.

Quick question, how did you lot choose your username? It's taken me bloody ages to pick one that's not already been used! I've only decided on this one as it's the latest mod i've done to the car! Also, do any of you re-gret your choice of username?

Cheers

Sometimes I think I should have taken a bit more time to think of an amusing user name but then I think 'who gives a **** anyway?'

Oh and welcome by the way.

All i've done (so far) is flaps and covered up the foglights. Seen a few threads in which this had been done, thought it looked quite cool, easy to do and cheapish too! I'm contemplating changing the panel filter then the back-box, there's been a few interesting threads about that too at the moment.
I've some subtle plans for the car but probably not until after christmas (the Mrs tends not to notice 'subtle' changes you see ).

Why did youchoose 'Evil.Soup' then?

I was stuck for a name and was having a rare intellectual conversation with a mate about how the world and the universe began and i just thought prime-evil soup and there it was!
What did the light covers set you back, if you dont mind me asking? Iv had my WRX for about 8 months now and done a few things to it including exhaust and filter but couldnt find any foglight covers?

I chose my username in 1998, coz it was my name Not that I posted much back then!

In them olden days you didn't really worry too much about using real names on the 'net, but I'm loath to change it as I like having a 1998 "member since" date.

Foglight covers are cheapest from the dealers believe it or not! They come already painted and with STI logo's which easily peel off. They cost me only £38 each including VAT('Blobeye'). Really easy to fit all you need is a thin screwdriver/knife to prise the original surround off and the new one just clips back into place.

I find it hard to believe that some companies charge £150+ for exactly the same thing that you can get from an official dealer for less than £75!!!

I reckon "Flaps" is a better name than "Little Minge". Isn't that somebody's username ??

Hmm - not in Firefox or IE7 as far as I can see. In fact IE7 doesn't like the forum at all...not that I care much!

302 eh! That's got to be one of the lowest still around I'd think Must be an old fart I guess
