Default BIG thanks to Bob Rawle !

Well, had my newer car mapped by Bob Rawle yesterday, simple mods, decat, sti intercooler, fuel pump and td04 Hybrid. (bugeye)
This really was starting to feel as fast as my old car with a TD05, headers, bigger injectors etc (bugeye), and it seems it wasn't just my imagination it was really pulling as hard as the TD05, except with a lot less lag! I'm once again more than just impressed with Bob. He's a great guy to talk to, explains everything, and being my 2nd remap with him, I can say he's an amazing mapper !
I think he's sending the graphs to my son's work email addy, so hopefully can get them posted up here.

Thanks again Bob, and keep up the great work !

I expect a big thanks from him for your money?

It's only fair...........

I take it you DID pay him for changing a few bits of DATA?

If it was FREE then, I too, congratulate him on a superb service!

Oh, yes, please hurry with the graphs - I have my box of tissues waiting

Pete you can be a senile old fool sometimes

The guy paid him to change some data, however if you read the post it did say he explained what he was doing, didn't have to do that did he?
So pipe down and get yourself back in NSR.

Oh and tissues? Yuk!!

I expect you get paid for doing your job! If your job is talking bollocks, you must be the richest man on Scoobynet!! If people want to mod their cars what's wrong with that? As for a remap being a waste of money, i don't expect Subaru run their rally cars on a replacement panel filter fron K+N alone do they?!! They have technicians on hand all the time to plug a lap-top into the ECU to adjust the map on the cars. They obviously don't think its a waste of time and i'd expect they know a lot more about tuning cars than you do FFS!
Taylor.

Gents.

It's best not to indulge Lewis when he posts up drivel like that. I pinged a few comments back to him on another thread when he posted almost the same thing & as he always needs the last word (he's a fragile old duffer after all) the result is mostly a complete buggeration of the original thread. The expression "thread crapping" could indeed be his middle name.

Anyhoo, back to the thread - well played Bob R, you'll see me soon enough

TX.

Well, so he says.
Nobody has ever met him though. For a 20st+ 78yr old, I don't see what he's afraid of?

Thank you

Why the foook do people feel the need to come on here and sing the praises of a company/person who has just lifted a good few £100 from their wallet????

You PAID them to do a good job FFS

I would like to extend my thanks to my postman, who, despite wind and rain posted me some letters yesterday - I would like to thank the Traffic Signal designer for getting his design so wonderful that I got green lights all the way home from the pub this afternoon, I would like to extend a vote of thanks to the lollipopman who, in his judgement, let me drive past before stepping out into the road, I would also like ScoobyNet to collectively thank my dustbinman who emptied my dustbin so perfectly last Wednesday - see my point???? FFS STOP BEING SO FOOKIN ****!!!!

I,m sorry but i dont see the purpose of your post. Bob is one of the best mappers in the country and is a regular on here , he runs a business mapping cars and obviously has to charge for this as its his way of making a living when someone gets a job done by somebody else no matter what the job is they like to leave feedback for others to read so that if anybody else requires the same sort of job done to there car then they know that bob is a good and reputable mapper. Now sod off to the muppet section with mr lewis

When I started to read your reply I thought it was a bad one Pete. However the more I think about it the more I would like to say a couple of things.

Thanks to Vue cinema in Basingstoke for selling me 5 tickets for Casino Royale last night.
Thanks to the ticket lady for expertly tearing my ticket in half and pointing me to the correct door
Thanks to the eat all you can chinky, the food and beer was great.
Thanks to co-op for selling me bacon for my breakfast this morning.......

Excellent service

Looking forward to hearing what figures you've got with the TD04 hybrid.

For me this is a more attractive replacement option over a TD05 or VF34/35.
