Tell you what though, your car might not be broken but your keyboard evidently is! The CAPS lock seems to be stuck on and your apostrophe (,) key seems to be sticking. How many torques was your keyboard running before it broke?

Thats a very high Torque figure, my T25 which has heavily modified engine internals has about 380lbs/ft, I'm no expert but the standard 2.5lt internals are supposedly not too good at handling big numbers so beware.

Dude,
Just get on with driving and enjoying it. Numbers from dreamos dont mean sod all in my book anyway.
Its about what it does on the road/track/strip. These are real world performance figures and nobody can argue with it down the pub either.
You could have a car with 1000bhp but if its no good out there on the black stuff....... who cares.
Its your car, nobody elses so just get on with enjoying it and stop winging.

It would have to be very badly set up to go in a week mate!!
I'm no expert, but if it's an STi and you've got the car appropriately set up for the mods, there is no reason why it shouldn't last. Torque does seem a bit high for the mods, but well, who knows how much weight to ascribe to figures these days. How it performs on the road is the litmus test.
Who told you it wouldn't last a week, Subaru UK?

Probably because it hasn't got 413 lbs of torque but let's not go there again
Just enjoy the car and forget about figures, there's always someone out there who's got more power

This was never about showing off power figures, you should read all the theads from start to finnish .

i have an STi 06 with significantly more mods than that but not that torque figure. I would get that checked on a different rolling road or post up the in gear acceleration figures (4th gear please) because the standard set up will not make that figure for definite.

If anyone looked at the graphs, you'll notethe tourque drops off a fair amount after its peak at 3000odd rpm.
The reason? The boost has probably been reigned in at higher revs with an eye set on to keep it reliable (it's why I asked for a plot of the pressure in the other thread ). So yes it surges off to 400 odd lb/ft but it quickly drops down to more conservative values after the intial kick in the back (so to speak ). Thus the overall bhp value is more conservative (as its caluclated from the torque).

Torque figure seems a little excessive to me... even the Evo X MR360 isn't near that figure! ...
I'm sure my jdm classic is close though!!
