... you pull onto a motorway from the sliproad and some kind soul a quarter of a mile back on the carriageway pulls over to "let you out", but you just say bye bye with a backbox burble. Nice considerate driver, but no good at recognising Scoobies!!!

(I'm in a playful mood.)

Cool

Even better is when some to$$er tries to speed up to stop you merging with the traffic, and you just drop a cog and leave him (always a him) for dust!

When you drop it a gear, and to a fly by, why do they always flash.

Happend to me last night, old guy in a Honda, rug on full display, oh yeah and his fogs light, no fog for a change!

When you dust an Escort Cosie who is trying to overtake you in the slip road - left him behind 2 cars and a big lorrie - shame!!!

My favourite is being in the outside lane on a motorway / dual carriage, overtaking other traffic, when a repmobile comes up behind in a "get out of my way" style. An extra half-inch of throttle suddenly makes them go backward again ;-)

Starting up in the morning. Fully Scoobysported exhaust etc. Go into garage, start car up with driver's door still open, listen to rumble, set up for the day

Impreza drivers think they can beat an Evo (only joking before the flames appear )

Alternatively.....
Reps in their A4's and 330i's (why is it they are always in a 330i) think they actually stand a chance of beating Impreza or Evo on anything looking remotely like a corner.

[Edited because my smilies didn't appear]

I find it particularly amusing when the reps in their 2.5 vectra's try the old pull into the middle lane and speed up so you can't pass trick... Oh how funny is the look on their face as a v loud scoob goes rocketing past

The new rep mobile problem is the Passat, the drivers are given a huge complex.

They have got a better car than a vectra but not as good as Merc, BMW or Audi.

Is it me or is overtaking generally seen as antisocial these days. Almost every time I do a perfectly safe legal overtaking maneuver it seems some pious git gets upset and flahes - either the guy I went by or the person coming the other way who I was nowhere near.

A standard scoob could get embarrased by a Vectra V6???????

No chance. Mine was standard for a while and was never embarrased by one - in fact a V6 Vectra couldn't even embarass me in my old 306GTi-6, beat them on the corners and straights.......especially remember a fun encounter in the Pug, near Farnham, A31 and lots of bits of clear dual carriageway and roundabouts *mind wanders off*

Err...I hope not given I've humiliated one in my 206

If anyone has been embarassed by a Vectra V6 then I might have to reconsider my decision to buy a Scoob!

ScoobyJawa,

Couldn't agree more M8, friend of mine had a V6 vectra, it was "quick", but no where near my UK standard turbo, used to lov teaching him a lesson. He's now got a Evo 6 stage 1, can't get passed him now, wonder why...

last night coming home from work a new tvr tuscon s wanted a play.
lasted a good 20 odd miles incorporating motorway, A roads, and pitch black B roads. i think he got annoyed when i passed him at 120 on the motorway.the chase insued but he eased off when i was at
160 with 1000rpm to go.the A and B roads were very funny also because he couldn't catch me let alone pass, i felt very sorry for
him.................NOT. SCOOBIES are GODS....well mine is anyway.

believe it or not its a uk car. but its running at around 320bhp.
fortunatly for me i think i got a special one if they exist.
I've modified pretty much everything except going really silly and touching pistons, rods etc....
when my 1 into 4 power manifold is fitted i should get another 25/30 brake and that will be it.....no more to do. oh except hopfully a wrc gear kit(fingers crossed).
to list the mods would take ages........sorry mate.

but if any of u out there are thinking hes full of ****, i'm sorry its true it is a uk car.most scooby owners think it has to be an sti to get this sort of power from a scooby.

I like it when im at the traffic lights and people look accross at you as if to say " youre gonna die" Then the lights change, you let them have a car length then floor it. As the turbo kicks in you fly past them and their smile fads to a frown, and your smerk turns to a big grinch style smile.
